Haunted House at the Historic Liberty Theatre

Monday, October 31, 2022 (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

Calling all Halloween lovers. The Condon Arts Council has created a haunted house like you have never experienced before. Earlier this month, the Condon Arts Council purchased the historic Liberty Theatre in Condon, a frontier community located 35 miles off of I-84 in northcentral Oregon and 2.5 hours from Portland. Built in 1922, the theatre is 100 years old this year … and it has many hidden secrets.

The Condon Arts Council is excited to pay tribute to the theatre and its haunted past.

The haunted house will open Halloween weekend starting Friday, October 28 from 6 PM to 9 PM. It will continue on Saturday and closed on Sunday. A big bash is planned for Halloween from 6PM to 9 PM.

Admission is free for kids in K-12. Kids under 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

There will be flashing lights, loud sounds, and scary sights. You have been warned! An emerging arts scene is taking root in Condon and visitors are encouraged to visit the town of 710 souls.

The Haunted House is one of many programs that the Condon Arts Council has provided for the community. The Condon Arts Council is a 501c3 nonprofit that was formed in 2021 to increase exposure and accessibility to the arts for all ages in the frontier rural community.
