Gorge Networks Inc. was founded in 1994 as the first local Internet provider in Hood River Oregon. By 1997 we had expanded service throughout the mid-Columbia region. In 1998 Gorge Networks Inc was the first provider of high-speed internet using first generation Wi-Fi equipment. In 1999 gorge.net formed a competitive phone company so that we could offer complete communications solutions to our growing base of business and residential customers. From 2000 to 2005 we rolled out our own DSL service, installed our own class 5 telephone switch and a full featured VOIP telephone service. We are looking forward to many new services in the near future including greatly expanding our wireless coverage and providing high bandwidth video and entertainment services.
